~ Summary ~
The people in the arena are my tribe. My job is to help them succeed.
Throughout my career as a business owner, senior executive, ship captain, and Executive Coach, I've experienced first-hand the tremendous pressures, complex issues, and never-ending "growth opportunities" those in the arena face every day.
I know how valuable it is to have someone you can trust to help you, who knows what you're dealing with and going through, and who can support you to achieve your organizational and career goals and become the person you most want to be.
That's who I am and that's what I do.

~ Background ~
My career - and life - has always been about learning, changing, and growing.
After graduating from the State University of New York Maritime College with a bachelor's degree in computer science and a U.S. Merchant Marine license, I became a captain of oil field supply vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, and on a scientific research vessel in Montauk, New York. Following that, my career came ashore and I became a computer scientist developing advanced systems for the U.S. Naval Weapons Center and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.
Upon receiving a master’s degree from George Washington University, I went into the private sector helping mid-sized businesses in a multitude of industries successfully thrive and grow by designing and developing highly-customized financial, information, and data management systems and processes.
I subsequently became an executive at a start-up government contracting firm where I grew the information systems division into a thriving organization of engineers, managers, and support staff.
From there I moved into management consulting with a highly respected consulting firm. This provided a tremendous opportunity to work with large, Fortune 500 companies to help executives and leaders at all levels manage, grow, and transform their complex operations and organizations.
I also created and managed several small businesses, including a music magazine that blossomed into a publishing company, events management business, and a non-profit community support organization, as well as several health and wellness-oriented businesses.
In 1999, having completed the business coaching program at Corporate Coach U, I founded NuView Coaching, LLC and became an executive coach and organizational improvement consultant.
Over the past 20+ years, I've coached, trained, and supported hundreds of executives, business owners, and leaders at all levels in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. I've worked closely with many of them for years helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities that arise throughout their lives and careers. I've supported their personal and professional growth and development helping them become masterful leaders - and great people - who create and lead world-class organizations.
To make all of that happen, I am always learning, changing, and growing.
